The Wheel at Icon Park

The iconic 400-foot tall observation wheel, at the heart of the ICON Park, provides breathtaking views of Central Florida in all directions, with sights of downtown Orlando’s skyline, nearby theme parks, lakes and lush landscape, and on a clear day, views of the Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s east coast. This Orlando attraction opened in 2015, after three years of construction. A ride on The Wheel usually takes about 18 minutes. Guests can spend a little extra for a private capsule for up to 15 people. Equipped with 64,000 color-changing LEDs, used for unique light shows, The Wheel has been deemed the brightest beacon in the Orlando sky. With air-conditioning and stability control in every capsule, this Observation wheel far surpasses the experience of any smaller Ferris wheel, especially on hot Summer Florida nights!
