Still, several moving parts remain. The NFL requires 75% of team owners to approve any such relocation of home games, and that vote has been postponed. The logistics of moving a team for a season—from staff housing, fan travel, and local partnerships to stadium capacity and market fit—are substantial. For Jacksonville fans, one season away means an adjustment, but the payoff is a renovated state-of-the-art home starting in 2028.
