Third Day is an influential American Christian rock band formed in 1991 in Marietta, Georgia, known for blending Southern rock energy with spiritually driven lyrics and becoming one of the most successful acts in contemporary Christian music. Over a career spanning decades, the group—fronted by Mac Powell alongside Mark Lee, Tai Anderson, and David Carr—released numerous albums, earned multiple Grammy and Dove Awards, and scored dozens of No. 1 Christian radio hits, building a passionate fanbase and leaving a lasting impact on the genre.
